So… I haven’t
introduced myself yet. My name is Bruce
Talbot. This is a new blog that I have
created that is a personal blog. I am a
student at Dixie State College and have been attending here for the last 4
years. This is my final semester here at
the college, which I’m very excited about.
My field that I’m going into is Audio Engineering, which I will be achieving
through a bachelor’s program in the Film Production tract in the Communications
department. If anyone was to ask me if I
was excited to be done with school and with getting a degree I would say Heck
Ya! I have enjoyed being here at Dixie
for the last several years, with that said I’m glad to be moving on into the
work force afterwards. After school I
hope to attain work in a recording studio (preferably) and work in recording
and editing music. I have been able to
do this to an extent by recording the bands and choirs here at Dixie for the
last 4 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
I am married, no kids, lived in St. George all my life except for 2
years in which I served a 2 year LDS mission. Ah…. What else about myself? I work here at the college currently at the
Dixie Helpdesk. I am taking one of the
most different classes right now that I have ever taken (interior design) and
have to say that the class is a big step out of my comfort zone. If I had to move anywhere for work I would
want to stay in or around Utah preferably.
I’m not a big city person, love the country to much. Unique things about me are that when I was
younger I used to be able to stick my legs around my head, even without
hands. I have not tried this in a long
while and doubt that I could still do it.
I am the tallest in my family, and no, that does not make my family a
family of midgets… Don’t ask because someone else already asked me the question. The shortest in my family is about 5’3. And, yea…
That’s basically the introduction for me! Talk to ya another post!
